Fiat Punto 1.9 Diesel. Heater fan does not work.Gets warm but no air blowing through

its a fiat, your lucky anything works, the engine will be next to go.

ps. have the wing mirrors fell off yet?

try checking the fuse.

Check your blower motor or your control switch. make shure that they are getting power.

your fan does not work. That is the problem. IT COULD BE A FUSE , OR JUST BAD. Try looking for the fuse or looking for a lose wire, going to your fan motor

l agree with KiwiKaos you have an electical problem or a burnt out motor.

Check that fan is not working by listening. Maybe it is the pollen filter that is blocked not allowing the air to circulate.

my dad had a fait punto.
if it wasnt the gear box, it was the clutch
if it was not the stiff locks, it would be btiff steering

there was always atleast 5 things at a time wrong with the car at any 1 time
your lucky that you just have that 1

If ur is the mk2/mk2 face lift, then l presume its the heater matrix/circuit, as they're common to go in these models after a couple or three years. Other than that, as stated, locate ur fuse box with a couple of spare fuses & the handbook (unless a guide is within the box) & swap it over, still no luck, it will more than likely be as ive said before. Fiat/Alfa electrics r a jumble, so you'd be best to get it checked out, probably cheaper through somewhere that does car electrics, as the last time l saw a mate go through a Fiat dealership (to sort dashboard lighting) he was charged over the odds.
