Fiat Palio stile 1.1 SLX worth buying? Howz TATA service doing?

When u turn pages in car magazines of the past 3 yrs u will notice that in all of the hatchback competitions or test drives the overall winner is Santro xing.

You may or maynot be personally inclined towards the palio stile,but with a cut down engine size here r few of its problems:
1.slower acceleration
2.more fuel consumption as u will have to rev the engine harder
3.lesser engine life
4.unreliable servicing network( l mean the Tata is can not look after their own cars what can they do about FIAT???),ppl suffer a lot after those free servicings get over.
5.The Power steering is got a vague feeling.
6.Not enough torque in the 1.1 ltr version,difficult to overtake other vehicles.
7.The tires squel if u push the car a bit around the corners.
8.Has better mileage than the 1.6 ltr version but nothing breath taking.

The tata servicing has improved a notch but still its nothing compared to the servicing that u get from other manufacturers like maruti-suzuki,hyundai,..
The santro & the wagon-r r better cars of the same class & for the price u r spending u can eaasily go for the hyundai getz or the Chevrolet U-va,these r much more refined & better buit vehicles.Test drive them & feel the difference.

Service in India is bad in all sectors. Why blame TATAs for the bad servicing? FIAT is FIAT. Remember the advertisement, it is for lovers not drivers. Try a test drive and feel the pulse. It is a good car but could have been better if FIAT worked on the fuel consumption, torque issues and acceleration apart from the lousy power steering. But it is a good car despite all flaws as there is no perfect car on earth.
