l bought my fita uno sometime last month and l begin to notice that when ever my is not in motion or stuck in trafic even for just a few minutes. my engine begins to shake then shuts down. can you help me on this. thanks

Get a tuneup and maybe the fuel pump is out of timing..

Maybe ur timing belt or chain is streched out, or It needs to have the belt/ chain tensioner adjusted. When the belt / chain is at high speeds does not feel the difference because there is no slack, that way the spark detonation inside the chambers does not pick up this slack but at idle ( vehicle engine running but not moving) it is considered that the motor is relaxed & the sincronization of the camshaft & crankshaft coming together is affected. If u r not mechaniclly inclined l understand, however take it to a reputable shop & have it checked, by the way u did not mention what year model it is. l do not know if it has a distributor & if it does check if it if loose,adjust & tightened, good luck! Refer yourself to Chilton's, Mitchell is or Haynes manuals.

l had a fiat. It was not the best car l ever had. l had timing belt problems. But, l do not know what type of problem that you have. Find a trust worthy mechanic.

l know nothing about that particular car but perhaps if it is air cooled it is overheating. My dad had an air cooled motor cycle and if you sit at alot of red lights it will overheat and shut off. Good luck.
