Is a Fiat Uno a car to buy?? I want to buy a used one. Any advice for a young girl. Please.?

my husban said not to buy it unless you have money to keep fixing it.

Make sure though that it has the engine named Fire & not Sting. Cause there were those Uno is that had the engine named Sting & they used to give some trouble to the owners.

On the other hand l have a friend of mine who owns a Fiat Uno Fire & he says that it is ok & it does not give him any trouble. He also bought it used & apart from servicing regularly, it did not give him anything to worry about & btw he use it every day & he does about 21miles everyday so l think that this car has enough wear & tear.

l love Fiats & own a 1998 Punto & l think that these cars r not full of problems as many people around the world say that are. Finally l would like to remind u & everyone here that no car is perfect on this planet

i'd buy a punto if l were you. they are alot better and nicer.

FIAT is a good car.It is from Italy. if l was you Iwould buy it.

Buy a cinquecento, they brake down a lot like any fiat but they are so cheap it does not really matter.

l love fiat Ive always owned them . You can run the crap out of the engines and they just are hard to break . Anyway you did not say what yr the uno was and was it the uno fire engine, If its your first car and its a very good price like a couple of hundred dollars it may be ok . Oh one thing the body will rust a lot in a humid climate so get it checked out so its safe. Its a great town car easy to park and handles well .
