Is anyone else excited by the arrival of the new Fiat 500?

Is it good to see a classic name return, how do you think it will do?

Do you feel its just a Mini- competitior or do you think it will genuinely carve a market and niche out for itself,?


Is it too derivative of competitiors such as SMART and Mini?

(l was looking forward to it,but didnt expect it to be as high-specced as what it currently is and especially at expected price of 11K- for a ''peoples car''however it would be more viable second hand.)

FIAT will always be FIAT and is no choice now with so many
good cars on the market.

l am pleased to see that it has that original Fiat 500 'look' which makes it very attractive to my eyes, at least. It does appear,however, that it will be overpriced which is a pity and rules it out for myself for a car of this size ( l had an original 500 'Nuova' years ago and we have just bought an old Cinquecento).
l would never buy a BMW ''Mini'' as that company cheated on MG Rover and acted very underhand.
