try bushes on top of strut towers they are made of rubber usually could be worn out open bonnet then jack up car and check for to much movement [drop] in strut

Hi

This sounds like either the bottom ball joint, or the rear wishbone bush, a worn shock mount, or a worn or broken drop link, All which should have been picked up on the MOT.

Make sure the handbrake is on good & tight & jack up the N/S/F wheel. Preferably secure it on an axle stand.

Grab the road wheel at the top & bottom & push ur hands in opposite directions in an attempt to rock the wheel from top to bottom, use a good effort.

Do the same from left to right.

If u feel any play at all then u need to be looking at the bottom ball joint or bush. Some bottom arms r an all in one affair, some have seperate ball joints, & some have seperate everything!!

If the bottom arm checks out ok (no play) then move onto the drop link if one is fitted, & trhe security of the shocker at the turret where it fastens to the wing.

Cheers

could be a ball joint problem - possible cv joint - or your tyre rod end come loose.

Get it to a local Fiat accredited mechanic.

Possible loose fittings or damaged CV boot.

But do it soon r you may have to pay far more to get it fixed.

I'd avoid the cobbles if l were you.

take the top off the shock absorbers and see if the nut is loose.
