The spare key would have a central locking device on it aswell though.

Maybe they arent but i'd imagine they would be cos its not that old

Yes, they all do, but being a Fiat, it is probably gone faulty.

Yes they do..and iirc they have a 'flip out' key that you press a little button and the key blade flips out of the rest of the unit.

yes it should have remote locking but u have probably been sup lied with just the spare key that is totally functional but does not activate the immobiliser my advise is to take it to where u bought it & ask for the Original key or take it a fiat dealers & get another key that works the remote central locking l have just bought one for my multpla 04 reg & it cost 93 pounds for none remote & 135 for remote key but trust me if u only have one key & u loose that one ur car is just scrap as the cost of getting it re-programed will far outweigh the value of the car the trick is never be whithout two keys if u own a modern fiat
