new 500 or old 500.or the cinquecento which is technically the middle 500.

Are u talking about the Fiat 500D. You have to be aware that there has been a Fiat 500 in production since the mid 1930 is (with a few gaps)and they were all very different cars. If u r interested in the 500D from the 50 is & 60 is l can tell u that it was tiny, it was an absolute hoot to drive as it had good roadholding in relation to its power. It was also quite reliable & cheap to run. As to how many accidents were the cars fault - come on - those sort of stats r virtually impossible to come by, even for a very recent car. All u can say is that is was a very small, well designed car which fulfilled its design brief well & was not inherently dangerous (well not unless u put an italian driver in a hurry into it).
