Hi l have a 1997 fiat punto which has done 32,000 miles, but l am just a bit curious intothis being the genuine mileage. The reason l ask this is because the speedometer needle which sits on the black pinis positioned just between the 2-5 mph mark, but not on the 0 mph mark.l was wondering if this is standard with this model or otherwise thinking that the dash board has been tampered with.Anywould be appreciated grately many thanks.

Not many speedo needles actually go down to 0 on the dial.
Punto is do sit about 2-5 mph and generally barely move until you hit 10mph+
That is low mileage for a Mk1 Punto.especially an 11 year old one. It is perfectly possibly for the car to have that sort of mileage however.the previous owner{s} may have been little old ladies that just went up the shops once a week and to the bingo now and then.
