l was wondering if a Hayabusa 1300 cc motor could fit in a Fiat X1/9? l was wanting to make this a project. l figured I'd need to get custom motor mounts, but l was curious if this could be done

Anyone with X1/9 knowledge, l plan on taking out the rear luggage compartment, making it and the original engine compartment into one bigger engine compartment.

You need to locate the gearbox for the hayabusa engine. the engine you can mount either the side of the driver or the back compartment.. l evr saw a guy transplant it on a Smart for two car. Try search that video on youtube.. good luck.

all you do is simply lift into place,chock it up where its going to live.then just look at the mounts and work out what u need..did not realise there were any x19 is still around.
