please can anybody help me my fiat stilo has a warning light come up on my instrument panel saying rear brake lamp failure but all the light bulbs work fine does anyone have any ideas why this would happen

Take it to a garage. Have not a clue

does the car have a high visibility brake light check that an all but the best thing u can do is to remove the bulb holders on both sides to check all te bulbs check for any discolouration ie black & sooty or a white colour .

to remove the bulb holders u only need a 10mm socket & a ratchet & maybe a small extension bar as if l remember rightly one of the nuts is quite tricky to get to .
once u remove the light unit u will need to unplug it then push in the 2 clips to remove the holder so u can check the bulbs

mine did the same thing after a couple of days it went ok
