No not compared to most Japanese or German cars but they look good & are alot cheaper which might be tempting But the Mazda Toyota or a VW Golf will be a better buy (If you are on a budget Hyundai & Kia & excellent value for money)

It depends what u want from ur car.
If u want nice looking car with nice engine & good steering for fair price then Fiat Bravo is ok choice.
However what l did not like in Bravo is the lack of space on the back bench & some of the materials used inside r strange. You can find a range of materials & elements Fiat puts in much smaller (and much cheaper) Panda or Punto.
Mazda3 is solid car, backed with nice warranty, but under the roof that is basically Ford Focus, so l do not really see other reason besides warranty to look after Mazda3 & not after Ford Focus.
As l am aware Toyota Caldina is not into production since 2007 & was only available for the Japanese market. Also it is not in the same class as the previous two because it is based on Avensis model so it is fairly bigger. Dunno about performance of the Caldina, but if it is based on Avensis there should not be any problems with steering.

Fiat Bravo is a relatively new model in this segment & l suppose you're looking at it cos it is Italian? If u can find a dealer with a new - old stock of the last generation Alfa Romeo 156 selespeed, l think u would enjoy it more. or even the current Alfa GT. l would not think you'd be looking at the 147 cos it is a class smaller..

With other makes, well.. they have a very proven track record especially Ford Focus in ALL trims, Honda Civic Si, Impreza's.. u get the idea. go for a test drive & see whose handling dynamics u like the most.. after all u gotta like what u buy.. what we say here r only OUR opinions & they do not stand for anything cos you're PAYING for ur ride.. enjoy it!
