My car squeaks when I am driving. Its not my brakes because they have a different squeak LOL. (l have an old banger).
Could it be my suspension and if it is....how can l fix it? It is really embarrassing!

Does it squeak when you accelerate ?
If so it could well be a slightly loose fan belt.
Very easy and inexpensive to fix.

dont they all?.its the rubber suspention bushes..but some wd40,get a friend to bounce the car whilst looking underneath.point and spray in the general direction of the squeek..

To be honest, most old cars squeak or groan a bit sometimes, just like us!! l had a Punto with a squeak once and it was a rear suspension bush, the one at the front edge of the linkage. A good skoosh of motorbike chain lube sorted it out. WD40 would work for a while, but it is a bit thin, you really need a heavier oil or grease. A garage would probably do it on a quiet day for a few beer tokens!

mine used to squeak. It was something to do with the brakes or steering l think. Back and forward for ages. l bet its still under warranty go get it sorted before you have to pay!
