There is no big trick to a clutch -- You just have to replace it, or find a foreign car shop to replace it. You probably do not have to also reflace the flywheel or even to have it re-surfaced. Probably do not have to replace the throwout bearing either. It is just that if & when the throwout bearing goes bad u have to pull the transmission again. It is a pretty cheap to buy piece.

No real trick to a carb rebuild. l have a nearly new 1971 124 Spyder carb if U need one. l replaced mine with a larger Weber carb several years ago . l still have the original if u If can find me! datonaspy1 At . Near Sacramento. Find a Fiat parts place in Italy or in ur area on the internet.

Also, do not allow some clown to worry u about any problems from ''low oil pressure''! the Fiat engine is a racer, having won many national championships road racing in the old days. The ''low oil pressure'' comes from using large oil passages because this is a racing engine! Your car only needs a single pound P.S. I. at idle & low speeds.

If u have no expereince, remember to hold the steering wheel on the lower half when driving. Because of the strange angle of the steering wheel the car seems to drive strangely when u steer from the upper half. l think that the Italians drive with their hands near their lap! The car feels much more natural to drive with ur hands on the lower half of the wheel, hands r palms up! Try it!
And do not allow ur boyfriend with the big feet to drive the car! The headlight switch wires & turn signal wires r plugged into the steering column, near the instrument panel. Big feet might knock the electrical plug loose when getting into the car!
